As the Bid Manager & Business Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the practice’s growth trajectory.
Your responsibilities will encompass managing the entire bid process, from inception to submission, ensuring the seamless coordination of efforts across various teams and sectors.
In addition to bid management, you will actively contribute to business development efforts by working closely with the leadership team; you will support strategic plans and initiatives to expand the client base and enhance market presence.
Responsibilities include;
Bid Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of bids and proposals, working closely with Senior Management and Associates to craft compelling bids that meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Manage the bid submission process from inception to delivery, including opportunity identification to submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Manage Proposal Go/No-Go process and submission reviews.
- Interpret client briefs and identify & source the content to support each submission.
- Update collateral including project sheets, CVs, capability statements & images.
- Maintain and refine submission ‘library’ of bid responses, including editing and drafting of updated content.
Business Development Coordination
- Establish and maintain a company Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Facilitate essential internal relationships among the Senior Management team to ensure smooth communication and coordination regarding business development activities.
- Organise and schedule internal business development meetings.
- Maintain a calendar of business development activities, including client follow-ups, networking events, and industry conferences.
Marketing
- Maintain the company website with current project and staff information.
- Regularly update company social media channels with accurate and appealing project and studio information
- Assist in the production of marketing collateral, print and digital media for internal and external communications.
- 3 – 5 years of bid management experience preferably in the architecture, engineering, or construction project sectors.
- Experience in copywriting with a high level of attention to detail and ability to accurately proof-read documents for grammatical accuracy.
- Confident communicator, with demonstrable ability to appropriately adapt written and verbal communication style to different audiences.
- Experience in facilitating and managing internal stakeholders, Bid and BD coordination meetings and deliverables.
