Founded by Matt Sampson in 2008, at 22 years of age, Aspect was born to move recruitment forward. A place where candidates can count on career-long support. Where clients welcome a candid, transparent approach. And where our people embrace working as a team to deliver quality, honest recruitment.

Launched Consultant Trainee Program

We designed our Consultant Trainee Program to teach our newest team members how to become recruitment consultants, and provide all the support, mentoring and tools they need to succeed. We've had 11 people complete the 6-month program to date.

Aspect's 10th Birthday

We celebrated our milestone 10th birthday at Lümé with all the people who helped make Aspect what it is — our partners, families, and business partners.

Our first in-house industry networking event

Breathing life into our new space by hosting the first of many industry networking events.

Moved to 385 Bourke Street

October 2015, as as team of 16, we moved to our current address in the Galleria building on the corner of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets.

We're very proud to have been named Small

Recruitment Agency of the Year' at the 2014 Seek SARA Awards.

Launched The PACE Survey

A not-for-profit, comprehensive study of businesses operating within Victoria's built environment industries.

Now with over 400 contributing rganisations, we've produced nine editions of the PACE report, and raised over $100,000 for local charities.

December 2010, as a team of eight, in we moved to a bigger office on the corner of Collins and Elizabeth streets.

Opened doors at Queens St office

29th January 2008 - Aspect's official birthday! We originally started as a two man band, with Matt Sampson and Adam Brown recruiting in the engineering space.

Business officially registered

18th October 2007 by Matt Sampson
