​At Aspect, one of our key values is to develop our people, so it’s always very exciting to announce promotions! Congratulations to Cassandra Maynard, promoted to Marketing Coordinator and Jess Cronin, who is officially our People & Culture Lead.

Both of our team members have a wonderful history at Aspect, and a true testament to what we are all about, so here are their stories:

Cass started at Aspect in 2011 after studying photography and working retail jobs. During her 8.5 years as Aspect, Cass Maynard has been Receptionist, Office Administrator, Marketing Administrator, and now Marketing Coordinator. When she started, she had never used Outlook, had never been to (let alone organised!) a corporate event, and had no exposure to the recruitment industry. Initially employed as our first full time receptionist, she quickly became the go to person for photography and design after identifying opportunities to improve our branding, social media, while simultaneously organising Aspect events as the team expanded.

And with growth, comes opportunity! Cass found her role to be increasingly focussed on her true passion for the creative space - design, events and marketing, officially promoted to Marketing Administrator in 2014. Since then Cass has been instrumental in producing digital content for the Aspect brand, executing our marketing campaigns and overseeing the event management function, which propelled her into her most recent promotion. Congrats Cass – a wonderful example to what a career at Aspect can be if you work hard and have a hunger to learn and grow!

Jess’s journey is equally as interesting! Jess first joined Aspect in 2014 with three years recruitment experience under her belt, and while she’d enjoyed her time at a bigger agency, it was time to join a smaller team environment and develop her skills. Over the next couple of years Jess built up the interior design desk, and with hard work and commitment to her clients and candidates, promoted to senior consultant.

The down, and then upside for us, was that Jess discovered her true calling was people development and after two years, left the A-team to pursue an internal recruitment position. Lucky for us it didn’t last too long, as she re-joined us in January 2017 as HR Coordinator, sourcing talent for Aspect, expanding our Employment Value Proposition (EVP), managing the learning and development program and embracing and enhancing our culture. All of these achievements, together with a dedication and a passion to roll out our Recruitment Consultant Trainee Program, proved to us how much she had grown and enriched the life of the team and was last month, very deservingly, promoted to our People and Culture Lead.
