Your New Role:
The primary objective of the Assistant Project Manager is to achieve targets and objectives set by the applicable project lead to contribute and assist in the successful tendering for and delivery of projects.
As an Assistant Project Manager you will be expected to contribute and assist in corporate function activities to achieve mutually agreed organizational targets.
Within your day to day role, you will work alongside an experienced Project Manager, gaining excellent exposure working across various projects across all stages, including:
  • Tender/Proposal Preparation
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison
  • Project Initiation
  • Project Planning
  • Project Execution
  • Project Close
  
Job Requirements:
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, along with 1+ years of experience in project management.
  • Proven skills and abilities in supporting managers in all aspects of significant and/or complex projects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment effectively, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to contribute positively in a busy and high pressure team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Must also have recent experience working in Perth and a strong working knowledge of the Local Building Codes.
  • Participation within industry bodies/committees and/or CSR is highly desirable.
