Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage projects from initial design development to tendering and project delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for all design-related matters.
- Coordinate consultant teams and manage design deliverables in line with the project program.
- Review and manage design compliance and PPR requirements.
- Close out building permit checklists and obtain staged building permits.
- Continuously assess and manage risks, opportunities, and interventions to improve construction outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with consultants and manage their appointments.
- Foster effective communication between stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for value-managed solutions without compromising design integrity.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture or a related field with equivalent knowledge and skills.
- 7+ years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in delivering institutional projects with values between $5-40 million (Education, Sports & Recreation, Community, Civic & Commercial).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Expertise in problem-solving design and construction solutions.
