Your New Role:
You will be joining the team as a HVAC/R Technician, where you’ll handle everything from installations to maintenance and repairs for HVAC systems, while also having the opportunity to develop your expertise in refrigeration.
Whether you’re an experienced technician or just starting your career, this firm will provide the training, support, and tools you need to succeed.
A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided to help you excel in your role.
Some of your key responsibilities will involve:
- HVAC System Installations: Efficiently install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate effectively and reliably.
- Refrigeration Expertise: Take advantage of our professional training programs to expand your skills in refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing expert advice on system operations and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team of technicians and apprentices to ensure project success.
- Participate in an On-Call Roster: Rotate into their on-call schedule to provide timely support to clients when needed.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 5+ years’ experience as a HVAC Technician, where you’d developed a strong knowledge of HVAC Systems, across troubleshooting, problem-solving and installations.
- Trade Certificate (HVAC/Air Conditioning)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Team player mentality and a strong work ethic, ideally someone who is passionate about their career and wants to develop themselves within the business.
- Valid Driver’s License
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Working with Children’s License and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
