Your New Company:
You will be joining a National Project Management Consultancy as part of their team in Perth.

Your New Role:
You will be joining the team as a Project Manager, where you will manage just projects but also within the team, as they encourage experienced staff to take an active role within mentoring and developing more junior staff within the business.
Alongside this, you will be expected to have an active role within organizing social events/activities.
Within this role, some of your responsibilities may include:
  • Project Planning: Developing and executing project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines, in consultation with the client and other stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinating all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, to ensure that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Budget Management: Managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that costs are within budget constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, including managing project changes and issues that arise during construction.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that the project meets quality standards and is compliant with all relevant regulations and codes.
  • Communication: Maintaining regular communication with the client, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that everyone is informed of project progress and any issues that arise.
  • Contract Administration: Administering contracts and ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Team Management: Managing project teams, including consultants, contractors, and vendors, to ensure that they deliver quality work on time and within budget.
  
Job Requirements:
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in project management.
  • Ideally, you will have gained exposure working across the full project cycle, as well as, leading projects and teams, with a successful track record of projects being completed within time and budget.
  • You should have a strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and budgeting and scheduling techniques.
  • Alongside this, you will ideally have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must also have recent experience working in Perth and a strong working knowledge of the Local Building Codes.
