This Melbourne-based firm specializes in structural and civil engineering, with a longstanding history of delivering high-quality solutions. They have contributed to a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, educational, and community developments. Their expertise spans structural design and civil engineering services, reflecting a strong commitment to excellence in the industry.

Due to business growth, they are now seeking an additional Structural Engineer at an Intermediate to Senior level.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing detailed designs and specifications for retail, high-end residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial structures.
Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are practical, feasible, and aligned with project requirements and budget constraints.
Overseeing the construction process to ensure designs are implemented correctly and structures meet specifications and standards.
Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Mentoring junior engineers and drafters, providing guidance and support, and delegating tasks effectively.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Around 5+ years of experience as a structural engineer in a consulting environment.
A comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and standards.
Extensive experience in the design and analysis of steel, PT, and reinforced concrete.
Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
Prior experience mentoring junior and graduate engineers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience liaising with project stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits
You will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience, expected to be between $90,000 and $120,000, with flexibility for the right candidate.
