Request Temp Candidates
  • 1. Briefing

    In exploring your needs, we’ll:

    • Analyse the requirements, challenges and opportunities unique to the organisation and the role
    • Develop customised candidate specifications, including job descriptions
    • Finalise search strategy and parameters (such as hands-off agreements), plus agree on targets and timeframes
  • 2. Talent identification ​

    To pinpoint suitable talent, we’ll:

    • Immediately target our existing talent community of temporary and contract professionals with the opportunity
    • Advertise the position across digital job boards, websites relevant to our industries, plus social media to attract and engage active job seekers
  • 3. Screening

    In evaluating identified prospects, we’ll:

    • Carry out screening to understand their experience and ability to perform the role
    • Arrange an in-person or video interview with candidates new to Aspect, to assess technical and behavioural skills, motivators and organisational fit
    • Conduct preliminary background checks for short-listed candidates
  • 4. Review & assessment

    Once we’ve narrowed down our selection, we’ll:

    • Present short-listed candidates for review
    • Select candidates for interview, if required
    • Coordinate all interviews
    • Finalise all pre-employment checks
  • 5. Hiring

    When you’ve chosen your preferred new temp, we’ll:

    • Facilitate offer negotiations, secure your preferred candidate and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
    • Train you and your temporary employee on our systems and processes for electronic billing and time-sheeting
    • Arrange OH&S training for your temp and conduct a thorough OH&S assessment of the workplace
  • 6. Commencement

    To ensure a successful integration, we’ll:


    • Prepare the candidate to start their new role
    • Call both the line manager and the contractor on the first day of the assignment to ensure a successful start and answer any questions
    • Arrange a Process Review Meeting to assess your experience in working with us and identify opportunities for improvement
  • 7. Aftercare

    ​Following the temp placement, we’ll:

    • Call both you and your temporary worker fortnightly to gauge feedback on the placement, and our services
    • Check in fortnightly with your temp to confirm there are no identifiable workplace hazards, and minimise OH&S risk throughout the contract
