About the Role:
You will work alongside Accounts Payable and Payroll, and report to the Financial Controller. This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week, which could be 4 full days or 5 shorter days - flexible to suit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
- Process various journal entries, including but not limited to:
- Maintain monthly cash flow for multiple funds
- Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions
- Review and resolve outstanding items in CheopsWeb
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for management review
- Perform general ledger reconciliations (monthly and quarterly)
- Compile and submit BAS and PAYGI reports
- Prepare financial year-end workpapers and tax return workpapers
- Leadership and team-building capabilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP System CHEOPS is preferred but not essential
- Bachelor of Business/Commerce Degree (or equivalent)
