Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's East to recruit a Transport Engineer for an initial 3 month contract role with the possibility of extension.

Hybrid working arrangement available.

Employed as a Transport Engineer; you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing, assessing and developing traffic management plans
• Conduct parking studies
• Responding & investigating customer requests 
• Stakeholder engagement/management 
• Assessing town planning referrals 

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience
• A Traffic / Transport Engineer, ideally with experience in Victorian Local Government
• Previous experience reviewing TMPs
• Demonstrated ability to conduct traffic investigations/studies
• A solid understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing a high level of customer service
• A current drivers license
