Seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our thriving civil construction client based in Geelong. As a key member of the delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale road and rail upgrade projects across the western corridor of Victoria.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, from cost control and commercial negotiations to team leadership and quality assurance. Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in civil construction, LXRP, drainage, earthworks, and road construction
- Exceptional cost control and commercial negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain daily project costs and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Excellent team leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating project teams
- Proficient in quality assurance and safety management, with a deep understanding of SWMS, environmental regulations, and OHS requirements
- Adept at problem-solving, innovation, and finding efficient construction methods to drive project success
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in the civil construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects (7 years minimum)
- Strong technical and engineering expertise, with the ability to interpret specifications and develop effective construction methodologies
