You will be responsible for management, process review, contract management, scheduling, operations coordination, and road management compliance for the council's civil maintenance teams.
- Leading & managing a small works crew
- Contract management and procurement
- Performance & KPI reporting and auditing
- Project Management of maintenance works
- Site inspections & surveillance
- Ensuring adherence to OHS policies and practices
- A qualification in civil engineering/construction
- Experience /knowledge of civil maintenance (roads, footpaths & drainage)
- Experience in contract management and management of RMP compliance.
- Knowledge of OH&S and safe operating techniques
- A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
- Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
