About the Role:
As an Architectural Documenter, you will be an essential part of our project delivery process, responsible for creating accurate, detailed, and technically sound architectural documentation. Working closely with architects and project teams, you will help bring design concepts to life through ArchiCAD, ensuring all drawings meet the required specifications and standards. From conceptual stages to construction, your contribution will ensure the seamless flow of information across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Use ArchiCAD to generate 3D models, technical drawings, and visualizations that clearly communicate design intent.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to refine and develop the documentation as projects progress.
- Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes and project evolution.
- Ensure documentation is well-organized and easily accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring documentation is produced efficiently and to a high standard.
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Documenter, with a solid background in producing architectural drawings.
- Expertise in ArchiCAD is essential, with a strong understanding of its tools and features.
- Strong experience in preparing detailed plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Knowledge of building regulations, construction standards, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving.
