About the Role
Are you a creative, visionary architect with a passion for leading design projects? We are seeking a Design Architect to join a dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice in Melbourne. In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring your design leadership skills to the forefront, working on a diverse range of projects including Education, Residential, and Multi-Residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design processes from concept through to delivery across a variety of project types.
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure design excellence and project success.
- Provide creative solutions while adhering to project constraints, timelines, and budgets.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to the development of the practice’s design ethos.
- Ensure design integrity through all project stages, including documentation and construction.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Design Architect in a recognised architectural practice.
- Proven experience managing and leading design on Education, Residential, and Multi-Residential projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and innovation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to present ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and planning regulations.
