The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Statutory Planner to work within an energetic and motivated team at a municipality located in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. 

• Large residential and industrial subdivisions
• Major Advertising Signs
• Liquor License
• Car parking dispensation to facilitate different types of use
• Green Wedge
• Commercial
• 3 month contract, potential to extend
• Covering staff on leave
• Band 6 
• Hourly rates will depend on experience
• Hybrid role, full time hours

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• A degree in Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experience
• A solid understanding of the Victorian Planning Schemes, Planning Legislation and state, regional and local planning strategies
• Ability to work well in a team environment 
• Previous experience working for a Victorian Council will be advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Attention to detail 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
