Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's eastern suburbs to recruit experienced Building Surveyor and Inspector to join their team.
This is a 3 month temporary contract with the possibility of being extended.
There is flexibility around the specific days worked (2-5 days per week).
The Building Surveyor role will be responsible for issuing notices and orders of illegal building works and enforcement.
The Building Inspector role will be responsible for completing domestic building inspections.
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
- A Registered Building Surveyor/Inspector (Unlimited or Limited)
- A tertiary qualification in building surveying or relevant experience/qualifications
- A solid understanding of relevant acts, regulations and standards
- Excellent time management and negotiation skills
- A current driver's license
