As a Project Architect/Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of wayfinding systems across multiple projects, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into the built environment. You will collaborate closely with design teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, user-friendly navigation solutions for a range of spaces including healthcare facilities, educational campuses, transportation hubs, Sports stadia and more.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with architects, urban planners, and interior designers to ensure wayfinding elements align with overall design aesthetics and functionality.
- Manage multiple wayfinding projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and objectives, and provide strategic recommendations for effective wayfinding solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and user research to inform design decisions and ensure that wayfinding solutions are tailored to specific environments and user needs.
- Work with the team to develop and present wayfinding concepts, visual strategies, signage plans, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and local regulations in the development of wayfinding solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, keeping them informed on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of wayfinding signage, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.
