Due to sustained business growth, they have identified an opportunity to further expand the company’s capacity by creating an additional role for a technical lead within their engineering team.
The Role:
- You will function in a Principal Bridge Engineer role with a technical focus.
- You will see projects delivered from concept through to completion and use your technical experience to mitigate any project risks that should arise.
- You will act as a point of technical escalation for the established bridges team
- You will act as a technical expert, providing guidance, feedback and advice to engineers within the team.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- 10+ years of experience as a Bridge Engineer
- Chartered Engineer status
- Experience leading bridge engineering projects from inception through to completion
- Strong technical design experience on a broad range of bridges, including vehicular and rail bridges
- The capability to mentor junior staff members
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
