- Greenfield Subdivisions Contractor
- Located in the north & western suburbs of Melbourne
- up to $170k + super + vehicle
One of Victoria's largest Greenfields Civil Construction companies, specialists across bulk earthworks, utilities, electrical, NBN, roads and curbs construction we are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Foreman to oversee multiple sites across the West of Melbourne or the Northern.
Progression into senior site management roles is earmarked for this position.
The role
- Reporting to the Project Manager you will have end-to-end responsibility to run your own site
- Delivery of greenfield land development sites from tender award until completion
- Oversee works onsite including bulk earthworks, drainage, electrical, roads and pavements.
- Coordinating site activities, dealing with councils, OH&S, scheduling resources and machinery
- Forecast resource requirements ahead of the project schedule
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements
- Communicate with clients, councils, consultants, and relevant authorities
- Implement project plans and programming
- 8+ years experience as a Civil Supervisor in large land development projects in Australia
- Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, and road construction (advantageous)
- Degree in Construction/Engineering
- Experience in multistage subdivision construction projects up to $40 million
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Appropriate IT skills
